FESTIVAL

 The I Republican Theater Festival "Irtysh-Bayan", devoted to the 135th anniversary of the outstanding Qazaq writer, playwright, publicist and one of the founders of Qazaq literature Zhusupbek Aimautov, will be held in the city of Pavlodar from the 20th to the 25th of September in 2024. It will be a Festival of state professional drama and music and drama theaters of Qazaqstan. Prizes will be awarded on a competitive basis according to the results of the theatrical seasons of 2023 - 2024.

THE FOUNDERS OF THE FESTIVAL
- Akimat of Pavlodar region;
- The Department of culture, development of languages and archives of Pavlodar region;
- The Qazaq Music and Drama Theater named after Zhusupbek Aimautov.

THE CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION IN THE FESTIVAL
- The plays released during the theatrical season of 2023-2024 are allowed to participate in the Festival.
- The state drama and drama and music theater groups with the plays staged in large and small forms are allowed to participate in the Festival.  
- Applications for participation in the Festival (application forms) must be submitted to the Festival management before the 15th of June 2024.

- The line-up for the Festival is being formed until the 25th of June 2024; by that date the Festival management will have sent the letters of invitation to those theaters that have passed competitive selection.
- The line-up for the Festival will include 10 theater groups of the Republic of Qazaqstan.
